The M.Tech at C-DAC Mohali is an intensive skill based and practice oriented programme, which incorporates assignments, industry relevant projects, dissertation work etc., and are delivered through regular and expert guest faculty in the region with extended laboratory operations for 7 days a week to provide a stimulation and high end teaching learning experience. Besides imparting theoretical knowledge, a lot of stress is laid on hands on training and overall development of the individual's personality.

ACSD has observed the need for imparting higher education of working professionals to update their skill sets. C-DAC Mohali introduced part time course in Information Technology for the working professionals having at least 2 years of experience in different organizations viz. Central / State Government Autonomous Body / Public Limited Company / AICTE approved institute. The programme is well-designed and is conducted on semester basis for 3 years. The objective is to build a strong foundation and develop the required skill set among the students in the field of Information Technology. The IT Labs include Advanced Internet Technology, Advanced Software Engineering and Advanced Data Base Management with latest softwares. Students are motivated to take up research in their field of interest and full support is provided to design and develop a market ready product during the thesis work.
